Beacon Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer for our client partner in Madison, Wisconsin. The role is onsite 4 days per week with 1 remote day, joining a growing data and analytics team to design, build, and optimize modern data solutions supporting enterprise analytics and BI initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on AWS, Databricks, and Python experience, plus expertise in semantic data models and scalable self-service analytics.

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer for our client partner. This role is based in Madison, Wisconsin, onsite 4 day per week and remote 1 day per week. The highly skilled Data Engineer will join our client's growing data and analytics team. This individual will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing modern data solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Databricks, and Python, along with experience developing and managing semantic data models that enable scalable self-service analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Build and optimize data workflows using AWS and Databricks technologies.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT processes to support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

• Experience with data lakehouse architectures.

• Hybrid work schedule with 4 days onsite in Madison, WI and 1 remote day per week.
