Job summary

Derex Technologies Inc. seeks a Data Engineer to join onsite in Jefferson City, MO. The role centers on migrating legacy SQL Server datamarts to Microsoft Fabric and building scalable data pipelines and Lakehouse solutions.

You will develop and optimize Fabric notebooks, pipelines, and data transformations, ensuring data quality and reliable production support. Strong experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and MS Fabric is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong MS Fabric, Python/PySpark, Spark SQL, SQL Server/T-SQL.
• Experience building data pipelines, Lakehouses, dimensional models, and ETL/ELT solutions.
• Knowledge of Spark performance tuning, incremental loads, data quality, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Git and production deployment processes.

Responsibilities

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
