Job summary

Diverse Lynx LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines and reporting for Patch & Vulnerability Management.

The role requires 9+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and experience with BI tools such as Power BI, SAP Business Objects, or Tableau. On-site collaboration with Vulnerability Management and Operations teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Senior Data Engineer with 9+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, and analytics.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills are required.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with dashboarding/visualization tools like Power BI, SAP Business Objects, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions supporting Patch & Vulnerability Management.
• Integrate data from multiple security platforms to provide a consistent view of vulnerability and patch status.
• Develop and automate operational, risk, KPI, and executive-level reporting.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and traceability across reporting datasets.
• Partner with Vulnerability Management, Operations, Engineering, and Technology teams to define reporting requirements.
• Support governance forums with timely reporting, trend analysis, and risk insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through automation.
• Maintain documentation and data models supporting regulatory and internal audit requirements.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Seniority required: Senior (Years of exp: Min 9 years)
• Experience in data engineering, reporting, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and reporting platforms.
• Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, or similar solutions.
• Understanding of IT operations, cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or patch management processes is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
