Job summary

You will design, build, and scale data pipelines on AWS, own the data ecosystem with Databricks or Snowflake, and write Python and SQL code to solve complex data challenges. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• 2-3+ years hands-on Python experience.
• 2-3+ years hands-on SQL experience.
• Proven experience with Databricks OR Snowflake (certifications a plus).
• Solid experience building data solutions on AWS.
• Experience in data wrangling and robust pipelines.

• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

Megazone Cloud is looking for a Data Engineer to be a backbone of our data-driven culture. You are a “builder” with a true thirst for knowledge and a startup mentality. You have a strong background in data wrangling and are an expert in Databricks or Snowflake , with deep skills in Python , SQL , and AWS.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and scale: Create and maintain resilient, high-performance data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.

• Own the data ecosystem: Master our data environment, leveraging Databricks and/or Snowflake to wrangle, transform, and prepare data for analysis and product use.

• Write mission-critical code: Develop clean, optimized, and automated solutions using Python and SQL to solve complex data challenges.

• Collaborate and multiply: Work as a “force multiplier” within our cross-functional teams, partnering with data science, development, and infrastructure to tackle big-picture projects.

• Be a flexible builder: Embrace a “builder” mentality. In a startup, you’ll have the flexibility to work on diverse challenges and your ideas will be heard, from intern to executive.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• 3-5+ years of professional data engineering experience.

• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with Python.

• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL.

• Proven, professional experience with Databricks OR Snowflake (certifications or experience with both is a huge plus).

• Solid experience building and managing data solutions on AWS.

• Proven experience in data wrangling and building robust data pipelines.

• A “builder” mindset, a startup mentality, and a genuine thirst for knowledge.

• Exceptional communication skills and the flexibility to think fast.

• A strong team-player mentality, with experience navigating team dynamics and collaborating effectively to solve problems.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with GenAI , AI/ML frameworks, and MLOps.

• Certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS.
