Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Engineer to provide data engineering and analysis consulting to a DoD client in coordination with clients, project managers, data scientists, and other developers. The role emphasizes data modeling, data integration, and solid software development practices.

The ideal candidate will have an active SECRET clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and at least three years of relevant experience in data-related fields.

What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Engineer who will provide data engineering and analysis consulting to a DoD client. You will work closely with clients, project managers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and software development principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

What You Will Need:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED “SECRET” Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• THREE (3) or more years of experience related to Data Science, Data Management, Data Engineering, Technology Consulting or related field.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with other Palantir products (e.g., Foundry)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Experience working in a consulting environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., ETL, data ingestion).
