Job summary

InterEx Group seeks a Data Engineer for a contract, on-site role in Houston. The candidate will work closely with a technical team to build and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data engineering practices.

Databricks experience is a plus, and prior Oil & Gas or energy sector exposure is highly valued. A background handling scientific or technical data will be advantageous for this hands-on position.

I’m currently working with a leading energy company that is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

On-site | 5 days a week

Contract

We’re looking for someone with:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Databricks experience is a big plus
• Oil & Gas / Energy experience is highly preferred
• A background working with scientific or technical data can also work, industry experience isn't essential if you have the right technical foundation

This is a hands-on role working closely with a technical team, so strong Azure + data engineering experience is key.
