Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable cloud data solutions for manufacturing and Industrial IoT environments in Grand Prairie, TX. The role emphasizes Lakehouse architectures, real-time data processing, and modern cloud platforms.

You will work with SQL, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or Azure to develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and analytics-ready datasets for business insights on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in manufacturing/IoT environments.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or Azure.
• Expertise in Lakehouse architecture and real-time processing.
• Experience designing large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and cloud data platforms.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable cloud data solutions for manufacturing and Industrial IoT environments. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Lakehouse architectures, real‑time data processing, and modern cloud data platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
• Expertise in Lakehouse/Medallion Architecture, Spark/PySpark, Kafka, Airflow, and Delta Lake.
• Experience designing and optimizing large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for high‑volume manufacturing and IoT data.
• Design and implement cloud‑native data solutions and Lakehouse architectures.
• Develop batch and real‑time data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver analytics‑ready data solutions.

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing domain experience with MES, SCADA, ERP, shop floor operations, and production planning.
