Job summary

Cosm, a global technology company, seeks a data-focused engineer to build and manage data pipelines, deliver accurate, timely datasets, and support business operations from our El Segundo onsite location.

You will grow the data catalog with clear documentation, learn and apply state-of-the-art workflow techniques, and help foster a data-driven culture in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics or Software Engineering required.
• Experience building data pipelines and managing data catalogs preferred.
• Onsite in El Segundo, CA; 40 hours/week.

• Build and manage data pipelines to support business operations in near real-time.
• Work with data users, analysts and other consumers to deliver accurate, timely datasets.
• Grow data catalog by becoming an expert in new data sources with clear and descriptive documentation.
• Learn and apply state of the art techniques for managing complex workflows, like incremental data flow.
• Foster a data driven culture by bringing unique perspective to a dynamic work environment .

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering or related field of study is required

The annualized base salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $ 106,995/yr.

Hours/Wages: 40 hrs/wk; 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM / $106,995/year
