Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services company, is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to join their Enterprise Data and AI organization in Detroit, MI. The role focuses on designing, building, and evolving modern data pipelines that support analytics, ML, and AI initiatives across the Insurance line of business.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams, lead scalable solution design, and own cloud-based data engineering solutions using AWS and Python.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Strong programming and automation skills in Python.
