Job summary

Aafes in Dallas HQ is seeking a data systems engineer to design and build end-to-end data platforms. You will design, develop, and operate data pipelines that collect, store, and process structured and unstructured data for analytics and AI workflows.

Onsite work at HQ in Dallas is required. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance while enabling scalable model training and experimentation.

Qualifications

• Four years of IT experience with SQL, data lake management, or modern AI deployment.
• Or a Bachelor's degree and two years of IT experience in the same areas.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data.
• Optimize workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and usability for model training.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and tracking to ensure data integrity.
• Enforce data privacy, security, and compliance standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned
