Job summary

Intapp is seeking a Data Engineer to manage client data integration projects and lead end-to-end migration into the DealCloud platform. You will gather requirements, perform ETL tasks, and validate data to ensure accurate go-live and successful delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration into the DealCloud platform
• Gather client data migration requirements and translate into technical solutions
• Perform ETL tasks including extraction, transformation, mapping and loading
• Validate and reconcile client data for migration and go-live
• Support platform configuration and data integration tasks
• Lead QA and testing for client solutions
• Participate in internal project management activities (documentation, status reporting)
• Serve as a secondary resource for client-facing initiatives (requirements, design, post-go-live support)

Job description

The Data Engineer plays a key role in managing data integration processes to support client implementations. Responsibilities include performing data mapping, validation, and go-live activities with increased ownership and accountability. This role emphasizes proactive client collaboration and delivery excellence, ensuring smooth and accurate data transitions. The Data Engineer may also contribute to broader client-facing initiatives, providing guidance and support to ensure successful client delivery outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Lead end-to-end migration of data into the DealCloud platform.
• Gather client data migration requirements and translate into accurate technical solutions for integration and go-live.
• Perform ETL tasks including data extraction from client legacy platforms, transformation, mapping, and loading for client projects.
• Validate and reconcile client data to ensure accuracy and integrity during migration and go-live phases.
• Support platform configuration and data integration tasks in alignment with DealCloud best practices.
• Lead QA and testing efforts to ensure successful deployment of client solutions.
• Participate in internal project management activities including documentation, status reporting, and escalation handling.
• Serve as a secondary resource for client-facing initiatives such as requirement gathering, solution design, and post-go-live support.

What you'll need:

• Experience working in professional services, consulting, or client-facing roles in SaaS organization.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field, or related experience.
• 3+ years experience in ETL processes and tools, data integration, or technical delivery.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or financial services technology.
• Proficiency in data manipulation using Excel, SQL, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of data structures, normalization, and mapping techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and APIs is preferred.
• Ability to recognize simple data problems and assist in finding solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DealCloud or similar financial services platform.
• Knowledge of investment banking, private equity, or legal workflows.
• Exposure to Agile or iterative delivery methodologies.
