Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes).
• Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL programs, procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Perform Oracle performance tuning and query optimization.
• Analyze queries with Explain Plans and optimize indexing strategies.
• Work with Oracle Exadata 19c architecture and performance capabilities.
• Invoke SQL*Plus from shell scripts and manage job scheduling with AutoSys.
• Develop data processing solutions using Python/PySpark.
• Use GitHub for source-code management and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.

Role: Oracle / PL SQL Developer with Py Spark / Data Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC- Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects including:
• Tables
• Views
• Indexes
• Partitioned tables and indexes
• Other database objects as required
• Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL programs, procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Perform Oracle database performance tuning and optimization.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries using:
• Explain Plans
• Index optimization
• Query optimization techniques
• Work extensively with Oracle Exadata 19c and understand its database architecture and performance capabilities.
• Implement and maintain different types of Oracle indexes and determine appropriate indexing strategies.
• Invoke and execute SQL*Plus from shell scripts.
• Work with AutoSys for job scheduling, monitoring, and dependency management.
• Develop data processing solutions using Python/PySpark where required.
• Use GitHub for source-code management, version control, and collaborative development.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
