Job summary

NS2 Mission, based in Chantilly, VA, is seeking a Data Engineer to design and develop scalable data pipelines transforming structured and unstructured data into actionable intelligence. You will work with Python, SQL, and Palantir (or similar platforms) to deliver high-quality data solutions supporting mission objectives.

The role focuses on building reliable data pipelines, integrating data from APIs and databases, and ensuring data quality, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong Python proficiency.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL for querying, transformation, and data analysis.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs, relational databases, and file systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

In this role, you'll design and develop scalable data pipelines that transform structured and unstructured data into actionable intelligence. Working with modern ETL technologies, Python, SQL, and Palantir (or similar platforms), you'll help deliver high-quality data solutions that directly support mission objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with big data technologies including Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or similar technologies.
