Job summary

Talentify is seeking an AI-focused Data Engineer for a remote, 6+ month contract. You will clean, transform, and aggregate data, build data solutions, and support client engagements across multiple environments.

Ideal candidates have advanced quantitative degrees, hands-on analytics experience, and strong Python/Java/Scala/SQL skills, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as CS, engineering, physics, statistics or applied mathematics.
• Hands-on experience building analytics data solutions.
• Deep knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Anaconda).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala and/or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through the digital landscape and identify priorities that matter most to them.
• Clean, transform, and aggregate data; compile and install database systems; write complex queries.
• Scale solutions across multiple machines and implement disaster-recovery systems.

JOB TITLE: Data Engineer
LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: 6+ month contract
RATE RANGE: $60 - $100 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client, a large multinational consulting and strategy firm is looking for AI focused Data Engineers to join their client facing team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You’ll guide clients through the digital landscape with a sharp eye on what’s important for them. You’ll clean, transform, and aggregate data; compile and install database systems; write complex queries; scale to multiple machines; and put disaster-recovery systems in place.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced degree is a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, physics, statistics or applied mathematics
• Hands-on experience building advanced analytics data solutions
• Deep knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Anaconda
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and/or SQL
• Experience in client facing roles and travel to client sites
