Job summary

Academies of Math and Science (AMS) seeks an exceptional Principal for one of our Little Rock campuses. The role leads instructional vision, coaching, and data-driven decision making to drive student achievement across K–8, with emphasis on equity and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of improving outcomes, building high-performing teams, and managing campus operations while engaging families and the community in a culturally responsive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree in Educational Leadership is preferred.
• Arkansas Principal/Administrator licensure or eligibility is preferred.
• Experience leading and developing adults, coaching teachers, and supervising leadership teams.
• Proven success improving student achievement through data-driven instructional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of rigorous, standards-aligned instruction across grade levels.
• Coach teachers and instructional leaders; provide feedback and support.
• Use student achievement data to drive school improvement initiatives.
• Oversee campus operations, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Build relationships with families and community stakeholders; promote engagement.
