Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Georgia S-5 Level certification or Non-Renewable School Counseling certificate required.
• Previous counseling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and leadership in implementing a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program aligned with the district and school's mission to promote academic, social-emotional, and college/career development for all students.
• Provide student learning experiences supporting academic achievement, college/career readiness, and social-emotional growth.
• Coordinate with staff to deliver classroom activities linked to student goals and needs.
• Conduct individual and group counseling to support academic, college/career readiness, and social-emotional development.
• Design and implement data-driven strategies to address learning barriers and close gaps in achievement/opportunity.
