Job summary

Electronic Theatre Controls, Inc. is seeking a Quality Improvement Manager to lead a hands-on, inspector-heavy team and drive data-backed improvements across product and process challenges.

You will guide cross-functional teams, analyze quality trends, and translate insights into measurable results while maintaining ISO quality systems and ensuring smooth operations. As a people-first leader, you will coach and develop inspectors, set clear expectations, and foster a high-performance culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years experience in QA, manufacturing, or related field.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in QA or manufacturing environments.
• 5-10 years of continuous improvement, QA and QC experience.
• Familiarity with employment law and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA department and inspectors; drive data-driven improvements with clear targets and sustainability plans.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality system and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to embed continuous improvement into design, sourcing, and production processes.
• Oversee inspections, audits, and performance reporting; manage personnel development and performance.
• Coordinate product holds, MRBs, and interface with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and Purchasing.
