Plastipak invites applications for a Corporate Quality Analyst to support its rigid plastics manufacturing operations across the US. You will collaborate with R&D and manufacturing sites to evaluate packages, analyze bottle performance, and improve product quality.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Packaging/Materials/Chemical/Industrial Engineering, six months Lean Sigma experience, strong data analytics, proactive mindset, and up to 50% travel to Plastipak sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in packaging/materials/chemical/industrial eng preferred.
• At least 6 months experience with Lean Sigma tools in manufacturing.
• Strong data analytics skills.
• Proactive initiative-taker with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D to evaluate developmental packages and conduct design reviews.
• Present insights from data and measures relating to bottle performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites to improve product quality by evaluating process capability.
• Develop and monitor inspection and test plans for products, including testing package impact on food safety.
• Interact with customers to discuss quality concerns and other issues.
• Uphold culture of quality awareness and improvement.
