Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for our Tennessee region. This role centers on solving problems by using data and coordinating daily activities with the project team.

You will help manage subcontractors, procurement, safety, and quality checks to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience, aBachelor’s degree is preferred, and prior internship or co-op experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project coordination or construction roles.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this position.
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality control / quality assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
