Job summary

Cloudflare in Austin, TX is offering an internship on the Internal Audit (IA) team. You will work with Internal Audit, Business and Technology partners to perform analysis and deliver insights that leverage AI/ML, data analytics, automation, dashboarding, and process improvements.

Under supervision, you will participate in the full audit lifecycle, design testing procedures, understand operations and risk, prepare workpapers, and present results to executives at internship end.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or program in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
• Expected graduation date between: 12/2026 - 12/2027
• Coding skills desired (Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets required
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship
• In office 3-5 days a week in Austin, TX

Responsibilities

• Operate under supervision to execute the full lifecycle of an audit project with a data-driven approach
• Apply data analysis, visualization and reporting techniques
• Design testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
• Gain understanding of the target area including operations, systems, data and risk
• Prepare audit workpapers and reports with direct supervision
• Build relationships with stakeholders to understand pain points and opportunities
• Present project outcomes to the company end of internship
• Access executives and leadership team during internship
