Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Michigan elementary teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement, or eligibility for certification
• CAP eligibility is determined at time of application
• Satisfactory criminal background check is required

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver standards-aligned instruction that produces measurable student growth
• Build positive, achievement-focused relationships with students
• Use formative and summative assessment data to adjust instruction and meet individual student needs
• Implement a tiered system of support within the classroom
• Coordinate instruction within and across grade levels
• Communicate regularly with parents, coaches, and administrators regarding student progress
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom environment
