Job summary

Pearson is seeking an experienced Domain Lead to drive discovery and definition of core data products within the Global Data organization. The role bridges business strategy and data delivery, guiding investments and aligning enterprise priorities to maximize measurable outcomes.

You will coordinate with data, OCTO teams, and executives, define success metrics, and lead governance and analytics best practices across teams. This is a Boise-based, full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, CS, engineering, data science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data products, technology, or product-driven organizations.
• Working knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Familiarity with ELT/ETL pipelines and data migration practices.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Relationship building and ability to influence without authority.
• Proactive, strategic problem-solver who independently identifies opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and milestones across data product initiatives.
• Own communication of business objectives and drive delivery through ambiguity and complexity as the central point of coordination across data teams, OCTO teams, business stakeholders, and executives.
• Develop clear, compelling narratives for data products to secure stakeholder buy-in and executive support.
• Partner with business stakeholders to drive problem definition and value articulation with measurable success metrics.
• Partner with engineering teams to clarify expectations and ensure delivery of measurable business value.
• Measure and communicate the business impact of domain and data initiatives.
• Collaborate across the Global Data organization to advance data quality, governance, and sustainability standards.
