Job summary

Pearson seeks an experienced Domain Lead to drive discovery and definition of core data products within the Global Data organization. You will bridge business strategy and data delivery, guiding investments and aligning priorities for measurable outcomes.

You will own scope, milestones, and stakeholder alignment, articulating value and ROI while partnering with business and engineering teams to deliver data-enabled solutions. This is a data-focused leadership role in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data products or product-driven orgs.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Familiarity with data processing, ELT/ETL pipelines and data migration.
• Ability to influence without formal authority.
• Proactive, strategic problem-solver identifying opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and milestones across data initiatives.
• Own communication of business objectives and coordinate across data teams, OCTO, stakeholders and executives.
• Develop clear narratives for data products to secure stakeholder buy-in and executive support.
• Partner with stakeholders to define problems and articulate value, including success metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering to clarify expectations and drive measurable business value.
• Measure and communicate business impact of domain initiatives.
• Contribute to governance, data quality, and sustainability standards.
