## Job Description# Data ConsultantApply**Job#: 3058056****Job Description:**Apex Systems is hiring a Data Consultant for a large Healthcare client.**Location:** Fully remote anywhere in the US.Role OverviewThe Data Consultant assists the organization in making critical, data-related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking, and reporting data within a business process and functional context. This role requires a strong combination of business analysis and data analysis skills to support marketing data solutions and secure database integrations. The selected professional will provide key business operations support, collaborate with production teams, and deliver guidance to business partners on complex technical solutions.Key Responsibilities* Develop, automate, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and visualization reports.* Perform large-scale data analysis and translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights.* Configure and migrate legacy SAS processes to modern cloud-based Databricks environments.* Build and maintain complex SQL reports across multiple database platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle, and external spreadsheets.* Provide secondary and tertiary application support, monitoring production batches to ensure the seamless execution of business operations.* Conduct thorough root cause analysis of system data problems to research and resolve technical issues.* Collaborate with business partners and technical teams to ensure appropriate data structures are implemented efficiently.* Document user requirements, action items, and deliverables from project meetings.Required Qualifications**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, operations research, or four years of equivalent experience in a related field.**Experience:** Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in business or data analysis, systems implementation, and production support projects, including at least 3 to 5 years of programming experience in SQL.**Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development, Microsoft Excel, SQL Server, and Oracle database management.Preferred Qualifications* Hands-on experience with SAS, Databricks, Oracle BIP, OTBI, Exadata, or Tableau.* Strong familiarity with data modeling and systems development methodologies.* Prior experience working within health plan management or clinical data environments.* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical details effectively to leadership. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
