ZipStaff is seeking a Data Cloud Governance Manager for a US CRM organization at a global pharmaceutical company in East Hanover, NJ. This hybrid role focuses on enterprise governance across Data Spaces, access controls, data protection, and cross-boundary sharing.

You will translate policy into platform standards, establish tagging, masking, encryption, and retention controls, and collaborate with IT, security, privacy, legal, and data engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data governance, privacy, security, risk, compliance, product management, or platform governance.
• Enterprise data controls: access management, tagging, masking, encryption, consent, retention, and controlled sharing.
• Experience turning policy into platform standards and acceptance criteria.
• Matrix work across business, IT, architecture, security, privacy, legal, data engineering, and product.

Job Title: Data Cloud Governance Manager

Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 remote)

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff - No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity

ZipStaff is seeking a Data Cloud Governance Manager for the US CRM organization at a global pharmaceutical company.

You will own the enterprise governance framework for shared Data Cloud capabilities: access, data protection, security, privacy, tagging, masking, and cross-boundary sharing across Data Spaces. This is a platform-governance seat that turns policy into guardrails - not a pure legal role and not a Data Cloud developer role.

What You’ll Do:

• Translate enterprise policy and regulatory expectations into platform standards, technical requirements, and delivery acceptance criteria.
• Set consistent controls for access, classification and tagging, masking, encryption, consent, retention, and controlled data sharing.
• Partner with the IT Center of Excellence, architecture, security, privacy, legal, data engineering, and product so Data Spaces can deliver without one-off exceptions.
• Keep audit evidence, risk-based controls, and ownership visible.
• Explain control requirements to technical and business audiences and influence without authority.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years in data governance, privacy, security, risk, compliance, product management, or platform governance.
• Enterprise data controls: access management, classification and tagging, masking, encryption, consent, retention, and controlled sharing.
• Experience turning policy into platform standards and acceptance criteria.
• Matrix work across business, IT, architecture, security, privacy, legal, data engineering, and product.
• Bachelor’s in data, technology, business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Ability to work hybrid in East Hanover, NJ (3 days on-site).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Data Cloud governance, data models, Data Streams, Data Lake Objects, and platform access patterns.
• Pharma, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Agile delivery, risk-based controls, audit evidence, and architecture governance.
• Advanced degree.
