Job summary

DATABASE USA LLC is seeking a Data-Centric Software Developer in Omaha to bridge massive data assets with high-performance delivery systems. You will architect data flows, oversee ETL pipelines, optimize database design, and manage AWS-based platforms that power API access and analytics.

You will collaborate with product teams to refine APIs, automate data cleansing, and accelerate delivery for research and licensing projects. Strong SQL, Alteryx, and backend development skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL tooling and data pipelines, especially Alteryx is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to design scalable schemas for large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and cloud-based workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python or Node.js) for API development and automation.
• Ability to understand data context and ensure data integrity and usability.

Responsibilities

• Architect ETL pipelines using Alteryx and scripts to ensure data freshness and accuracy.
• Optimize database performance to support high-frequency API queries and large exports.
• Own and scale AWS infrastructure for reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with product teams to refine APIs for customer integrations.
• Identify opportunities to automate data cleansing and spatial grouping tasks.
