Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, USA, seeks a Warehouse Operator, Data Center Associate-LBJ FWY to load/unload freight, check quality, and manage inventory while assembling servers and networking components. Strong safety and teamwork are required for accurate rack installation and cabling per diagrams.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in inventory control or warehousing.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
1-3 years’ experience in inventory control or warehousing admin experience.

Responsibilities

Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities.
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the data center.
Process return shipments of various electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
Place server racks on the data center floor using laser measuring devices with high accuracy.
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks per diagrams and schematics.
Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
Maintain clean and safe work area adhering to 5s standards.
