The Yahoo Data Center Operations Team is a group of highly skilled support technicians and engineers. Our primary goal is the operation and maintenance of the most efficient, environmentally friendly data center technology in the world. We maintain a robust and diverse IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance for Yahoo users worldwide.

A Lot About You

We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, familiar with supply chain and logistics best practices. You should be willing to do whatever it takes to support team success, enjoy staying busy, and working actively with diverse teams.

Your Day

1. Coordinate, receive, and document deliveries, including small packages and large shipments requiring heavy equipment.
2. Pack and ship equipment as needed.
3. Use various systems for receipts, shipments, and inventory management.
4. Keep the loading dock and staging area safe, organized, and clean.
5. Assess received items for damage and follow up as necessary.
6. Order and stock office and breakroom supplies.

You Must Have

1. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence.
2. Experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse roles for at least 3 years.
3. The ability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
4. Experience with equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and packaging tools.
5. Familiarity with Google tools (Gmail, Docs, Forms).
6. Basic Excel skills, including formulas.
7. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

The role also involves adhering to Yahoo policies, exercising sound judgment, working effectively and safely with others, and safeguarding company operations and brand integrity.

The salary range for this position is $76,500 to $159,375 annually, depending on location, skills, and experience. Compensation may include bonuses or commissions. Benefits include healthcare, a 401(k), childcare support, education stipends, and more.
