Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks a Data Center Technician to manage on-site infrastructure in Shakopee, MN. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, and support capacity planning. This full-time role requires hands-on hardware deployment and strict documentation practices.

You will handle power distribution, UPS systems, and environmental monitoring while collaborating with engineering and operations teams. On-call nights/weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with rack and stack operations
• Understanding of power distribution and UPS systems
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) - preferred
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) - preferred

Responsibilities
