Reboot Monkey in Mount Pleasant, United States, is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure at our world-class facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role involving installing, configuring, and maintaining server and network gear, performing structured cabling, and ensuring uptime across power and cooling systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations, strong documentation skills, and hands-on experience with rack and stack operations, cabling

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of data center operations experience.
• Proficient in server and network equipment maintenance.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a and OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.
• Experience with rack and stack operations and power distribution.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform in demanding environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices is preferred.
• Experience with on-site incident response and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.

Compensation & Benefits

$60,000-75,000/year (USD annual)

Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position
• Standard business hours with on-call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable
