Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician for on-site contract work in La Mirada, CA. You will install, decommission, and migrate hardware, perform cabling, racking, and cross-connects, and coordinate with NOC teams on mission-critical infrastructure.

Candidates should have 2+ years in data center or IT environments, strong cabling skills, and experience with server hardware from Dell, HP or Supermicro. Certification in DCIM/Network+ is preferred, with DCIM/ticketing familiarity.

Qualifications

• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Professional communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in La Mirada, United States. This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Compensation

$25-35/hr (USD hourly)

Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates.
