Reboot Monkey in Fremont, CA is seeking a Data Center Technician for on-site, full-time work at world-class facilities. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment to support critical infrastructure.

This role requires 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4 fiber), and knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems. Collaborate with engineering and operations, participate in capacity planning and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
• Experience with rack and stack operations.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and vendor certifications.

$60,000-75,000/year (USD annual)

Work Schedule

• Standard business hours with on-call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable
