Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Cleveland, OH to join our on-site team. This full-time role involves maintaining server and network gear, handling structured cabling, and supporting capacity planning in a world-class data center environment.

The candidate will monitor power, cooling, and security systems, respond to incidents, and ensure precise documentation and asset tracking. On-site work with typical business hours and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Proficient in documenting and asset tracking.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.

About The Role

Join our team as a Data Center Technician in Cleveland, United States. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll support critical infrastructure at world-class data center facilities.

Compensation & Benefits

$60,000-75,000/year (USD annual)

Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position
• Standard business hours with on-call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)

• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) - preferred
• Network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA) - preferred
• Experience with DCIM platforms - preferred
• Knowledge of ITIL practices - preferred
