Job summary

Reboot Monkey is hiring a Data Center Technician to support world-class data center facilities in Clackamas, United States. This on-site, full-time role covers server and network equipment deployment, structured cabling, and environmental monitoring.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of data center ops experience, strong cable skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OS2 fiber), and familiarity with DCIM and ITIL practices. Certifications from Dell, HPE, and Cisco are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills for copper and fiber.
• Experience with server/network equipment deployment and maintenance.
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms and ITIL practices preferred.
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.

About The Role

Compensation & Benefits

$60,000-75,000/year (USD annual)

Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position
• Standard business hours with on-call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable

Key Responsibilities
