Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is hiring a Data Center Associate for the B shift (Mon-Fri, 2pm-10:30pm) at the Lancaster datacenter in USA. You will handle loading/unloading, quality checks, and daily cycle counts, ensuring accuracy and safety in daily operations.

You will also install servers and rack components, manage cabling, and operate pallet jacks, with emphasis on teamwork and precise workmanship. 1-3 years of related experience is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience is required.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills; required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with high accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain area cleanliness and safety per 5S standards.
