Job summary

Ericsson seeks a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling installations, equipment provisioning, testing, and provide operational support while following Ericsson and customer standards.

This role requires 1+ year in data center operations, knowledge of cabling and networking gear, the ability to read drawings and MOPs, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of data center operations, structured cabling, telecommunications, field services, or IT infrastructure support.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, power distribution systems, and structured cabling.
• Understanding of copper and fiber cabling practices, basic optical networking concepts, and installation standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation documentation, and methods of procedure (MOPs).
• Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation activities with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers while managing assigned work independently.

• Execute rack-and-stack activities, structured cabling installations, equipment provisioning, testing, and operational support.
• Ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and in accordance with Ericsson and customer standards.
