Job summary

A technology services company in Alpharetta is looking for a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure at a world-class data center facility. The position is full-time and on-site, offering a salary of $60,000-$75,000 per year. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining server equipment, monitoring environmental systems, and troubleshooting incidents. Candidates should have 3+ years of data center operations experience and strong cabling skills. Additional data center and network certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) preferred.
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.

Skills

Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Excellent documentation and communication skills

Ability to lift 50+ lbs
