Reboot Monkey in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment at our world-class data center facilities, with a focus on reliability and uptime.

The role requires 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber), and experience with power distribution and UPS systems. You will work standard hours with on-call rotation and contribute to capacity planning and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data center operations or equivalent field experience.
• Expert cabling skills for Cat6/6a and OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Experience with rack and stack operations and UPS systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and DCIM platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
