Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking experienced Data Center Technicians in Hillsboro, OR to support the mechanical and electrical critical facilities that keep our data centers running 24/7. The role emphasizes hands-on work with HVAC systems, generators, switchgear, UPS, and BMS controls on a rotating 12-hour shift.

Candidates should have data center or critical facilities experience in industrial settings, strong troubleshooting skills, and comfort working in a regulated environment.

NTT Global Data Centers is growing in Hillsboro, and I’m looking for experienced Data Center Technicians with strong mechanical and/or electrical critical facilities experience.

This is a facilities-focused role, supporting the systems that keep a mission-critical data center operating 24/7.

What we’re looking for:

• Data center or other critical facilities experience, such as semiconductor, power plant, hospital, or similar industrial environments
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, generators, UPS, switchgear, ATS/STS, electrical distribution, BMS/controls, and fire life safety systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment

HOURS:

Shift work 12hr shifts first week Mon-Tue 6:00pm-6:00am, Off Wed-Thu, Work Fri-Sun 6:00pm-6:00am 2nd week Mon-Tue Off, Wed-Thu 6:00pm-6:00am and Off Fri-Sun

Technicians rotate from days/nights every quarter. 6am-6pm/6pm-6am.

This position requires work to be done onsite at a data center facility and may require use of a personal mobile device. A monthly stipend will be provided to cover expenses incurred for using a personal device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Hourly base salary for this position is $33.00 - $50.00 and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance to local state and federal ‘Wage and Hour’ requirements.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.

Compensation Pay Range

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.
