Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to ensure the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems in a data center environment.

You will maintain processes to maximize customer uptime cost-effectively, identify issues, and ensure quality services from contractors while meeting internal customer demands. This role requires hands-on work in a demanding, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems knowledge in data centers.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, 72, 25 and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Develops approaches to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintains and monitors mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Inspects parts, reads schematics, and installs or repairs components.
• Operates and monitors facilities systems and responds to abnormal conditions.
• Works with contractors on maintenance, expansions, and upgrades.
• Regular attendance is essential.
