Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Data Center Technician to uphold the operational integrity of electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems. You will ensure uptime, coordinate with contractors, and support regulatory compliance across critical facilities.

The role demands hands-on experience with large-scale data center equipment, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work shifts, including nights or weekends. An onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications such as CPR/First Aid and NFPA70E are a plus and may be gained after hire.
• Experience in data center facilities and critical environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops approaches to minimize operating costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintains mechanical and electrical systems including chillers, HVAC, generators, and fire life safety.
• Monitors and maintains data center systems to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Works with contractors to ensure quality and timely maintenance and upgrades.
• Analyzes systems to ensure best practices for internal and external customers.
