Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks an experienced Data Center Technician for contract work in Dededo, GU, on-site at premier data center facilities. You will perform hardware installations, migrations, and structured cabling, while ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with remote NOC teams.

Requirements include 2+ years in data center or IT infra, strong cabling and server hardware experience, and preferred certifications (CDCP/CDCS, CCNA, CompTIA Network+).

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
