Job summary

A data center service provider is looking for a Data Center Technician to support mission-critical infrastructure at premier facilities in North Las Vegas. This freelance/contract position offers an hourly rate of $25-35 depending on experience and project complexity. Responsibilities include hardware installations, structured cabling, and troubleshooting. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience and strong cabling skills. Professional communication and the ability to work on-site are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills with Cat5e/6/6a and fiber optic.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
