Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, is looking for a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team at a US data center. You will troubleshoot hardware, manage inventory, and work with Linux and networking to keep systems running around the clock.

This salaried role requires hands-on hardware skills, lifting up to 50 lbs, and participation in on-call rotations. CoreWeave offers a strong benefits package and growth opportunities within a fast-growing cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day data center operations to meet service levels.
• Perform hardware and network diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Participate in root cause analysis for hardware and software issues.
• Assemble, install, and maintain equipment in data centers.
• Maintain inventory and test/tool equipment for operations.
• Develop or contribute to documentation and internal training.
• Provide technical support to data center teams.
• Write or use scripts to update server and networking hardware.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support.
• Occasional travel to other data center locations.

What You’ll Do

This is a salaried, fully onsite role at one of our data center locations.

About The Role

• Computer Hardware experience (troubleshooting, assembling)
• Linux Operating System experience
• All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations
• Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and/or work in elevated locations
• Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues

Who You Are

Hands‑on OR education‑based experience with any of the following areas:

• Computer Hardware, including troubleshooting and repair skills experience
• Data Center experience
• Computer Networking experience
• Python, Bash, or other scripting languages experience
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
• An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT‑related field

The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. The starting salary will be determined by job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
