Qualifications

• Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.
• Clear understanding of job safety requirements.
• Be able to read and understand floor plans.
• Familiar with wiring schemes and testing.
• Able to pull all types of low voltage cable.
• Capable of field terminations and labeling.
• Maintain orderly paperwork and run service jobs.
• Layout MDF and IDF closets and dress cabling.
• Capable of working in data centers.
• Install ladder rackings and seismic bracing.
• Understand copper and fiber testing basics.
• Read blueprints and design documents.
• Dress fiber trunks for splicing.
• Operate and program test equipment; save results.
