Job summary

The Archetype Strategy is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure within our data centers. You will install data cabinets, rack systems, and pathway supports, and run pre-connectorized fiber to ensure reliable data transmission.

You will read blueprints, collaborate with engineering teams, perform QA testing, document configurations, and adhere to safety protocols. This 12-hour shift includes day and night options; compensation is $22–$28 per hour, with a 15%

Qualifications

• Experience in data center installation or related technical field.
• Ability to install data cabinets, racks and supporting infrastructure.
• Hands-on fiber cable installation and management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Install and align data cabinets and racks per specs.
• Design and install pathway supports like basket trays and cable management.
• Run, terminate, and secure pre-connectorized fiber cables.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for system integration.
• Perform QA testing and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain installation records and document changes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a secure work area.
