Job summary

Salute Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician to support hyperscale clients with structured cabling, server rack deployments, and on-site operations in the Georgia/Atlanta area.

This hands-on role emphasizes attention to detail and teamwork, with on-site leadership guiding projects and on-the-job training provided. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Data Center Technician:

The Technician will be responsible for performing structured cabling installations and server rack deployments in a data center environment. This is a hands‑on role requiring attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong work ethic.

Technical training will be provided on the job; prior experience is not required. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team under the direction of on‑site Salute Leadership.

Our team handles a wide range of technical projects, with a primary focus on rack movements at this site. Our current work includes unloading, staging, and securing racks, ensuring they are properly leveled. Some projects may require additional training, such as cabling etc.

The primary work site is in Boydton, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Install, route, and secure structured cabling according to project specifications
• Assist with server rack deployments and related hardware setup
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Complete tasks assigned by the Team Lead ina timelyandaccuratemanner
• Support quality assurance efforts by adhering to installation standards
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors
• Ability to follow precise instructions
• Perform material movement including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process
• Perform Data Center pre-cabling to industry standards
• Detailed physical inventory tracking and staging
• Timely responsiveness via MS Outlook, MS Teams, text, and/or phone

Requirements:

• Knowledge of how to properlyutilizepower tools isrequired

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
• Ability to stand forlong periodsof time in various work environments
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
• Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
• Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
• Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
• Ability to work in environments with a widevarietytemperature inside a facility
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
• Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
• Possession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, asrequired

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure

The hourly rate for this role is $26.00 per hour. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long‑term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. This posted hourly rate is the final rate of pay for the position, based on job‑related factors consistent with applicable law.
