Job summary

DSV is seeking a Data Center Team Lead for Dock A-shift (6:30AM-2:30PM) in USA - Lockbourne. You will oversee material handling, inventory management and project coordination to ensure accurate server rack installations and component wiring.

Role requires 3–5 years of related experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication with internal teams and customers. Base pay is disclosed as hourly, with benefits typical of the program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight and manage shipping documents.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for accurate part numbers and pristine condition.
• Produce daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site.
• Assist and oversee placement of server racks on the data center floor with precision.
• Install rack hardware and cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.

Responsible for providing and maintaining effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management as well as various customer material movement requests. Responsible for the assembly and installation of servers and various electronic components using a variety of hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.Tasks & Responsibilities:Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers including the management of shipping documents and recordsPerform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking for accurate part numbers, quantities and ensuring material is in pristine conditionExecute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenterProcess return shipments of various electronic components utilizing multiple warehouse management systemsOversee and perform the placement server racks on the datacenter floor utilizing laser measuring devices with 100% accuracyOversee and perform the population of electronic components and install cabling into server racks by following provided diagrams and schematicsInstall rack hardware using various hand, power and measuring toolsOperate various types of material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacksPerform and oversee cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5s standardsPush, pull and lift frequently throughout the workdayDeliverables & Achievables:Daily adherence to safety and process proceduresPunctuality and reliabilityAttention to detail and a focus on qualityAbility to be flexible and cross-train in multiple departments within the datacenterEffective delegation and coaching skillsDetails/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skills are required. Critical thinking abilities and strong analytical skills are needed in this role for confident decisions making based on information and data provided to meet production goals effectively, accurately, and efficiently. Experience with computers is required in this role. Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols are required as this position requires working with live electrical and electronic equipment and components. 3-5 years of related experience is required.The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodationMust be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $27/hourly . Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
