Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site startup, testing, commissioning, and delivery of data center electrical systems in the United States. You will coordinate with project managers, site stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires 75% travel across North America, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of electrical protection systems and IEC 61850 environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical equipment field service, startup, testing, or commissioning experience.
• Experience supporting data center construction or mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, electrical protection systems, and power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite activities related to equipment startup, testing, installation, and commissioning.
• Serve as the primary onsite representative for the client and site stakeholders.
• Plan onsite activities, labor, equipment needs, and coordination with contractors and safety managers.
• Ensure safety and quality standards and maintain on-site documentation and reporting.
