Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer Level 1 to join the on-site team at the Ashburn, VA data center.

You will manage access control, monitor CCTV, investigate incidents, and complete written reports while coordinating with the DCOPS and other departments to ensure secure operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and active security certifications; a minimum of one year in security is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active certifications such as Certified Security Guard (CSG) or Certified Protection Officer (CPO) preferred and must be obtained within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper identification for employees, clients, vendors, and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems; respond to incidents and complete written reports.
• Maintain daily administrative documentation like Shift Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
• Assist Shipping & Receiving and collaborate with Data Center Operations Team to support secure operation of the data center.
